The space
The Nest Cottage — a tranquil treehouse escape.
Cradled in the treetops of a Blue Mountain coffee farm, The Nest Cottage is a cosy retreat for dreamers and nature lovers.
Rustic charm meets comfort, with a lounge and kitchen framing sweeping valley views, like living in your own secret treehouse. Upstairs, a wraparound balcony invites you to greet the sunrise or linger beneath starlit skies.
Outside, a private outdoor tub offers a peaceful soak, surrounded by the gentle whispers of the forest.
Guest access
Our communal leisure area is a warm, welcoming space where you can meet fellow guests, relax, play games, browse our cosy little library, or simply enjoy a good old-fashioned chat. This is also where you'll find internet access.
For those who like to stay active, our rustic outdoor gym lets you work out while surrounded by nature's beauty.
Hidden away from the main property, a private gazebo awaits — with a sun deck, chill-out seating, pool table, and dartboard, it's the perfect spot to unwind and socialise.
Throughout the grounds, open spaces invite you to play games, practise yoga, exercise, or simply relax while listening to the soothing sounds of the nearby river.
And don't forget — you're welcome to explore our 5-acre Blue Mountain coffee farm, immersing yourself in the natural surroundings.

Nest Cottage info & travel tips
The Nest Cottage is a self-catering unit, so we recommend you bring your own snacks and food supplies.
As an option, you can order Jamaican-style evening meals from a local community chef delivered right to the guesthouse!
Getting here
We're located off the B1 route, heading in the direction of New Castle from Kingston.
We can arrange a pick-up service which we strongly recommend, as road conditions have worsened due to the recent storms. You can reach out to us for more information. We can be flexible with arrival times when using our pick-up service, and you can arrange this with us in advance.
If you do wish to make your own way here, please be aware that the mountain roads are narrow in places. Some parts of the road are only accessible with a 4x4, and local taxis will likely not be able to make it right to the property if they are not familiar with the roads. These are truly mountain roads for the adventurous! Airport taxis and Uber taxis are not recommended. Please aim to arrive by 6pm, as the roads are challenging after dark.
Please do reach out for any support regarding your travel arrangements beforehand.
Evenings can get cool, so bring a warm sweater and a rain mac just in case.
Payment
Cash is preferred for tours and meals ordered from the local chef.
