More info

The Getaway room is our comfy standard room with two single beds — ideal for friends or young travellers sharing a space.

Bright and cosy, it's the perfect spot to kick back and relax while taking in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

The space

The Getaway room has its own private entrance and outdoor seating area — perfect for chilling out in your own space.

The room is great if you're travelling with friends and want your own sleeping arrangements.

Our guesthouse is self-catering, so you can cook your own meals whenever you like. You're free to use the shared kitchen, which has all the basics for cooking and storing food. If cooking's not your thing, no problem — we've got a local chef who can deliver tasty homemade dinners right to the guesthouse. Menus and ordering info will be waiting for you when you get here.

We're always around if you need anything or want some local tips — just give us a shout!

If you like driving or hiking, there are some nice restaurants and cafes nearby that make for a great lunch stop.

Oh, and just so you know, we don't have TVs in the rooms. We're all about natural living and giving you a relaxing, unforgettable stay.

Guest access

The heart of the place is our kitchen and dining area — a chill spot to enjoy breakfast or dinner with awesome mountain views. It's also great for hanging out during the day, whether you want to relax, read, play some dominoes or board games, or just have a good chat.

You'll also have access to our outdoor gym that fits right in with the rustic feel. Plus, we've got a tucked-away gazebo with a sun deck, comfy seating, a pool table, and a dartboard for some fun times.

There's plenty of open space around the property too — perfect for games, yoga, working out, or just kicking back and relaxing.

During your stay

No schedules. No pressure. Just comfort — as much or as little as needed.

Other things to note

We're located just off the B1 route heading toward New Castle.

We can arrange a pick-up service which we strongly recommend, as road conditions have worsened due to the recent storms. You can reach out to us for more information. We can be flexible with arrival times when using our pick-up service, and you can arrange this with us in advance.

If you do wish to make your own way here, please be aware that the mountain roads are narrow in places. Some parts of the road are only accessible with a 4x4, and local taxis will likely not be able to make it right to the property if they are not familiar with the roads. These are truly mountain roads for the adventurous! Airport taxis and Uber taxis are not recommended. Please aim to arrive by 6pm, as the roads are challenging after dark.

Please do reach out for any support regarding your travel arrangements beforehand.

Evenings can get pretty cool, so it's a good idea to pack a warm sweater and a rain mac.

Please note: cash is preferred for tours and meals ordered from the local chef, but card is accepted.
